Important changes have taken place in relation to the case of women wrestlers which created a stir across the country. The Delhi Police have registered two cases against Bharatiya Janata Party MP Brij Bhushan Saran Singh, He is already facing serious charges in connection with this case. In one of the cases, women wrestlers alleged that he sexually, mentally, and physically harassed them.

In another case, the victim’s father complained that he behaved inappropriately and indecently towards a minor girl. A case has been registered under the Pox Act. WFI chief Singh has already clarified that he has not done any wrong except that all these cases have been registered against him.

A key development in these cases took place on Tuesday. To this extent, the police collected statements from the victimized female wrestlers and the minor girl in the presence of her father. At the same time, it is reported that Brij Bhushan also called some staff from Saran Singh’s Delhi residence.

Meanwhile, Samyukta Kisan Morcha called for a massive agitation in support of women wrestlers on June 9. The SKU has announced that Home Minister Amit Shah has held discussions with the wrestlers and that the investigation is going on at a fast pace, hence the agitation has been postponed. On this occasion, Amit Shah has assured the wrestlers that the law will be the same for all.
