Devotees thronged to see Sri Venkateswara Swamy, Alivelu Mangamma, who is the idol of Lord Kaliyuga in Tirumala. More than 75 thousand people are visiting it every day. Meanwhile, more than 90,000 devotees visited the shrine last Sunday.
It is remarkable that in recent times TTD has been seen on a large scale in history. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Chairman Subbareddy and AO Dharma Reddy have taken special measures to ensure that the devotees who are coming in droves do not face any difficulties. They are trying to make the darshan happen quickly by supervising sometimes.
In terms of darshan, 75 thousand 227 people visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Amma Varla on Tuesday, June 13. 33 thousand 706 people have submitted their talanilas. As gifts and donations offered to Swami by devotees, TTD received Rs. 3.85 crores were received. Devotees are waiting in the compartments to see Swami without tokens. TTD revealed that their darshan time is likely to take at least 18 hours.
In view of the rush of devotees, TTD is giving permission only to those who have protocol. At this time, no permission is given to anyone except celebrities. TTD Evo Dharma Reddy has already made important comments. He said that steps will be taken to give the fortune of darshan to the common devotees as soon as possible.
