Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the tribal leader Birsa Munda as a rare human being who made this country proud. Today is the death anniversary of that great man who worked for the tribals. The Prime Minister praised that Bhagwan Birsa Munda fought for the rights of crores of tribals. Millions of salutations to him. Narendra Modi reminded us that he sacrificed everything in the struggle against foreign rule. He made it clear that the grateful nation will forever be indebted to Birsa Munda’s efforts for the upliftment of tribal society.
Meanwhile, Birsa Munda lived for only 25 years. In this short period of time, he worked hard for the upliftment of the tribals. Then he formed a team against the English rulers. He created a private army of wild children. Birsa Munda criticized that this land does not belong to the British but belongs to the tribals they are protecting it with their sweat.
