Large-scale industries are being set up due to the actions taken by the Telangana government under the leadership of the Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti Party. Along with IT, Pharma, Logistic, and Telecom, startups are also growing on a large scale. Lakhs of people are getting employment. Recently, pepper processing plants have been set up in Mahabubabad districts of the state. Minister KTR shared this on Twitter on Sunday.
In Telangana, most of the chili crop is grown in this region. He revealed that the annual production is approximately 1.5 lakhs which is 25 percent of the total production of Telangana. KTR said that the quality of chilies produced in the district has been recognized as the highest in the world.
As part of this, the government has set up large-scale chili processing plants to help the chili farmers. KTR said that through these, one lakh MTs of pepper can be processed per year. These two units will consume oleoresin and the exports from these units will be shipped to more than 85 per cent countries worldwide.
