Anyone who gets selected for civil services thinks it is enough. Others are happy to be settled with status, salary, and recognition after being selected. But Mihir Karmakar, an IAS officer from West Bengal, is an exception. Because in addition to his duties, he engaged in the work of preparing many civil preparers like him. He set up coaching centers on his own.
Mihir Karmakar worked to train them as civil servants. He made us wonder if such people would exist in this country.
Mihir Karmakar is a 2016 batch West Bengal Civil Services (WCS) officer. Two coaching centers have been set up so far. More than 150 aspirants were made to prepare for Civils. He is working as a BDO in Kumar village of Alipurudar district in North Bengal.
He set up training centers for civil aspirants free of cost. Most of them are poor and belong to poor families. He gives priority to them. Here everything is provided free of cost along with the material. His efforts are inspiring to everyone. We hope to arrange more in the coming days.
