AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the services provided by 108 ambulances in the state are commendable. 108 ambulances were started at Vijayawada Benz Circle Junction on Monday. The CM noted that there was a problem due to some vehicles coming for repair. To this extent, the government has bought new ones in place of the old ones at a cost of more than 34 crore rupees. Jagan Reddy waved the flag and started the ambulances.
He said that the honor of introducing 108 vehicles for the first time in the country goes to his father late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The AP CM said that no matter how much is said about the services rendered by these vehicles that are honking their horns, it is not enough.
The CM also inaugurated mobile medical units with many facilities. Jagan Reddy said that MMU staff will visit rural areas and provide services. He said that his government is giving highest priority to education and medical sector. The CM clarified that crores of rupees have been sanctioned.
