At the same time, Somu Veerraju, who was the state president of the AP Bharatiya Janata Party, was selected for the national working group.

BJP National President JP Nadda made an important announcement to this extent. In his place, Daggubati Purandheswari, daughter of the late CM Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who served as Union Minister in the past, has been given the responsibilities as the party chief.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to make a splash in the South ahead of the upcoming elections. The party has already suffered an irreparable blow in Karnataka. The Kannada people have given a blow to the ruling Kashya Party government. At the same time, BJP is looking to increase its momentum in Tamil Nadu and come to power in Telangana. They are trying to say that they are an alternative to the ruling BRS.

The party entrusted Purandheswari with the responsibility of standing up to YCP Havan and CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in AP.
