Sanjay Raut : Railway Minister should resign

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut Fired on Balasore Trains Incident

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut questioned why Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has not resigned till now despite the fatal train accident. He said that the Central should be fully responsible for this. Sanjay Raut spoke to the media today. It was flagged that the details of how many people have lost their lives and how many people have been injured in the Odisha incident have not been announced so far. Sanjay Raut said that it is not a good method to hang on to the post even if such a terrible thing has happened.

He reminded farmer union railway ministers Madhavrao Scindia and Lal Bahadur Shastri had resigned from their posts immediately after the train accidents happened in the past. But Ashwani Vaishnav said that it is bad that he did not respond to this. Sanjay Raut lashed out at the Center on the Railway Kavach. The MP demanded that the Modi government should be held responsible for the Odisha train accident.

Sanjay Raut alleged that the incident took place due to the central government’s non-implementation of the indigenously developed anti-colon system Kavach. Meanwhile, there was a huge loss of life in the collision of the Coromandel Express at Balasore in Odisha. More than 1,000 people were seriously injured.

The opposition, including the Congress party, demanded the Central to investigate the incident with the CBI. AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge said that this tragedy happened due to faulty procedures.
