RBI : 76 percent Rs. 2000 notes back

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced. The Center has already spent Rs. 2,000 notes have been announced to be canceled. With this, RBI has clarified that the notes in circulation in the country will be canceled after the announced deadline and should be deposited in the respective public and private sector banks immediately. With this, the country-wide stock of Rs. It has been clarified that about 76 percent of the 2,000 notes have returned to the respective banks. To this extent, RBI, the highest financial regulatory body in the country, made an important announcement on Monday.

Meanwhile, on May 19, the Rs. 2,000 notes have been announced to be withdrawn. This key announcement was made as per the directives issued by the Modi government. It has provided flexibility by allowing currency notes to be deposited or exchanged in the respective banks.

It said that more than 75 percent of the notes in circulation have come. RBI has announced that 87 percent of the total money is in the form of deposits. Remaining Rs. 2000 notes were exchanged at 13 per cent, it said. Looking at the value of the notes, till June 30 this year, Rs. 2.72 lakh crores, RBI said.
