Mohammad Siraj ruled out of ODIs due to hand injury

Revealed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India

The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma got a big shock. Hyderabad pacer Mohammad Siraj, who is known as a speed star, got injured. As a result, he was dropped from the three ODI series against West Indies. The Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI ) revealed that this decision was taken on the advice of doctors.

Team India is scheduled to participate in the Asian Games in Australia after the West Indies tour. After that, they will play in the ODI World Cup organized by the ICC. BCCI Selection Committee Chairman Ajit Agarkar has already announced the respective teams. As a stand-by, BCCI has not yet revealed who will be selected as Siraj’s replacement.

Meanwhile, Siraj played in the IPL on behalf of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. After that, he showed his strength in the West Indies test match. But the doctors have made it clear that Siraj needs to rest for a few weeks due to his hand injury and not being able to play. According to the doctor’s instructions, BCCI has been informed by the team management of the Indian team. The BCCI has considered it to this extent and said that it is avoiding ODIs. Overall Siraj’s absence can be said to be a bit of a blow to the team.
