Former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram’s son MP Karti P Chidambaram met Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar on Wednesday. On this occasion, he discussed various topics with him for more than an hour. Deputy CM expressed happiness in this regard. He said that he was very happy to interact with his brother Karti Chidambaram. Because he praised MP Karti P Chidambaram for his understanding of the country, especially the states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Meanwhile, Karti Chidambaram made important comments. He praised the excellent performance of the Congress party under the leadership of DK Shivakumar as the KPCC chief. He said that it is not a common thing for the party to give Jhalak to the BJP by shouting victory. Karti P Chidambaram said that the credit for his tireless efforts will go to the Deputy CM. The MP clarified that they mostly discussed contemporary politics, regional issues, and priorities.
The BJP government collapsed in the recently held elections. Limited to only 65 seats. And the Congress party has recovered in an unexpected manner. To this extent, it has won 135 seats. JDS won 19 seats. Four won as independent MLAs. They also gave jai to Congress. With this, the strength of the party reached 139 in the assembly.
