A terrible Train Accident in Odisha

More than 237 people died

The most tragic incident in the history of the country. A terrible train accident took place in Odisha. Not one or two, but 237 people died in this accident. Details about how many people have died are yet to be received. The state government is taking supportive measures. Along with the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi, the Chief Ministers of various states also expressed their shock.

Relief efforts are ongoing. There are piles of dead bodies. At least 237 people were killed when four coaches of the Coromandel Express derailed in Odisha’s Balasore district on Friday evening. More than 900 people were injured. The train accident was one of the worst post-independence accidents.

Coromandel Express from Kolkata to Chennai collided with another train from Bangalore to Kolkata which had derailed. The people in only one bogie are yet to be rescued. It’s seriously messed up. The railway tracks were destroyed everywhere. The coaches are completely lying down. The families of the deceased will be given Rs. 2 lakhs and Rs. 50 thousand from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, Prime Minister Modi announced.
