Raghuram Rajan, former governor of the Reserve Bank of India, made interesting comments. He spoke to the national media. Aam Aadmi Party convener, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal praised the actions taken by the AAP government. He opined that there is a need to implement the governance model across the country.
Mainly, he has been saying for some time now that there is a need to focus on education and health care. Raghuram Rajan stated that the Delhi government has focused more on improving the quality of schools and if the AAP model is followed or implemented across the country, there is a chance of better results.
He said that the Government of India is chanting digitization but leaving aside other priority sectors. Raghuram Rajan said that this will cause serious damage to the financial sector. Mainly inflation and unemployment both of these will cause serious problems to the country, he said.
Meanwhile, the AAP government allocated huge amounts of funds only for the education and health sectors. Students who have studied in Delhi schools continue to be top in the examinations conducted across the country at present. The ex-governors praise seems to have given some boost to the AAP government.
