Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble met Chief Minister Sandinti Jagan Mohan Reddy at the CM’s camp office in Tadepalli Gudem in AP on Saturday as a courtesy call. The CM specially congratulated Anil Kumble who met him on this occasion. He was presented with a memento by Sri Venkateswara Swamy, Tirumala. Jagan Reddy honored Anil Kumble on behalf of the government.
Anil Kumble thanked Jagan Reddy on this occasion. Once in the past, Kumble met AP CM. The CM asked to help the sports sector in the state. Anil Kumble agreed to this. On his part, he made it clear that he is ready to help cricket and other sports to the best of his ability.
On the other hand, CM Jagan Reddy suggested in the recently held AP Cabinet meeting that APL should be held in the state of Andhra Pradesh on the lines of IPL. He directed the sports minister and the chairman to prepare guidelines in this regard to help the talented sportspersons in the state.
As part of this, Anil Kumble’s meeting with Jagan Reddy has become a priority.
